Job Summary

We are seeking a HR Intern for a 6-8 week period to assist us with general HR Administrative tasks.

About the role

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven HR intern to assist our HR Department with administrative and HR related tasks.  The HR Intern will work closely with the HR Team and employees to ensure that the business delivers quality service.  Ideally working across the following areas which are not limited to:-

  • Assisting the HR staff in ad-hoc HR related duties.
  • General HR Administrative tasks as required.
  • Post job advertisements on job boards for vacancies.
  • Screening potential candidates’ resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
  • Conducting pre-screen interviews with candidates.
  • Organising interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Coordinating new hire orientations.

About you

This role is well suited to an enthusiastic and driven individual with well-developed administration skills and a grounded and level-headed approach.  Recent graduates or those currently studying HR or a related discipline that have a couple of years of demonstrated administration experience would be well suited to this position.

 

You will need to have great attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are quick at learning new systems and processes.  Ideally, you will be a highly self-motivated individual and capable of taking responsibility for your own work.

 

What you bring

 

  • Studying toward a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Ability to effectively plan, multi-task, and prioritise conflicting priorities.
  • Proven experience working in an office environment.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
