We are seeking a Civil Construction Surveyor with proven experience in a similar role.

About the role

Reporting to the Survey Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the survey and set out of civil projects and will need to possess the following:

• Proven surveying experience in the civil construction industry.
• Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a willingness to engage with and train others.
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and manage conflicting and tight priorities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a small, but busy, construction management team.
• Computer literacy, particularly with surveying software (Magnet) Trimble Business Center, 12D, Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with 3D Control, Stringless Paving, setup and use, including machine 3d control (Trimble and Topcon)
• Ability to review design information (hard and soft) to calculate day-to-day setouts.
• Produce Survey plans from Fieldwork.
• Prepared to work for Company Work Integrated Management System (WH&S, Quality & Environment).
• As-built surveys, Conformance surveys and reporting for QA.
• Familiar with Topcon Robotic Stations and GPS units with Magnet Field and or Pocket 3d Software.
• Experience with DJI Phantom 4 RTK Drones along with Propeller and Trimble Stratus.

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying or similar. (Cert IV Minimum)
• Experience in the Civil Construction Industry.
• WHS Industry Induction Card (white card).
